In Sudan, war, disease and disaster are colliding, leaving millions trapped in a spiral of unimaginable hardship. A massive landslide struck South Darfur on August 31, reportedly killing more than 1,000 people. This disaster strikes a country already on the brink. Civil war has forced 10.5 million people from their homes, famine has been declared in North Darfur and a cholera outbreak has infected more than 99,000 people. World Relief is on the ground, preparing to respond with clean water, sanitation, and essential supplies despite incredibly limited access.
